It's the most wanted remake of all time, obviously SE could afford to spend 5 - 6 years making this because it'll definitely pay off as long as they don't go changing everything and screwing it up....like they always do....maybe SE shouldn't make it, there's been to many hit and misses.

 Hence, Final Fantasy XIII became the biggest disappointment this generation. So the firm needs some kind of “redemption” so to speak, and maybe, just maybe, a Final Fantasy VII remake announcement at Sony’s presser will save it.

Because Deus Ex: Human Revolution just don’t have the strength to accomplish such a fit, nor does Tomb Raider.

I really don't see why ff 13 is reviered as one of the biggest dissapointments this gen, it's actually an amazing game, and an amazing final fantasy.

Even though it may be linear it definitely is a great game and doesn't deserve to be bashed on by so many people.

I really don't see why ff 13 is reviered as one of the biggest dissapointments this gen, it's actually an amazing game, and an amazing final fantasy.

Even though it may be linear it definitely is a great game and doesn't deserve to be bashed on by so many people.

Compared to other final fantasies it doesnt cut it I am afraid. The good reviews were from hype alone. The majority of gamers hated the game.

FF7 remake has been rumored since PS2 came out. No the demo for PS3 was not an indication that FF7 was going to be remade, just the same as the demo for FF8 on the PS2 was not an indication that FF7 was going to be remade.

Those gamers are simply angry from the change of the usual giant world map to a linear westernized game, ff 13 is a great final fantasy, and the good reviews aren't from hype it can't be the story is great, graphics top notch, gameplay great.

Gets me wondering as to really why so much hatred towards ff 13?
