You have a big ol' screen in front of you and they'll expect you to look down at a controller to look around the environment in a game?

no...

3DS is a handheld where the controls are on the console itself. This is a home console.

A screen on the controller and a gyroscope so it can detect if your looking up down left right behind.

Basically the ability to move your neck in RealLife to take a look around.

Before you do anything drastic ... The IGN mock-up controller photo is from a different source than the console photo

So one might be fake without the other... (hint: the conrtoller photo is definitely fake)

Though both have similar background colors...

ugh - gonna have to wait till E3 whether we like it or not >_<

...The mere thought of the next Smash Bros makes me feel all fuzzy inside :D

My first SSB was Brawl. I loved it that much :)

(I did play the N64/GCN ones at friends' houses though - Not as fun as when YOU own it n_n)

Nintendo is doing something.

all indication are pointing they are making

a consul with new controls and added tecknologie to make

3D worlds easy to navigat for mass market casuals.

 

/shrug.  Looks like thats there objective.

I wouldn't be suprised if Nintendo didn't leak some of these rumours themselves just to throw people off!

I wouldn't be surprised if a handful of websites made it up simply to drive web traffic ...

While I don't intend to be mean, videogame journalism is full of unethical people and organizations. It is a field where it is common for people to review games they never played, plagiarize other people’s work, accept money to provide more positive reviews, create controversial opinion pieces to drive readership, and knowingly spread false information (in the form of rumours) to boost revenues.

I don't know if they could make a killer app out of an Animal Crossing game but all the other games you mentioned could be killer apps.  Also it would be funny if the next Brawl game would really be called Super Smash Brothers Nespresso.

I hope Nintendo doesn't target 3d party developers or else we might see PS4 and Xbox 3 multiplatform graphics held back if Nintendo's HD console gets successful.
