Forums - Sales Discussion - I bet Forza 4 will outsell Gran Turismo 5 in Americas.

By itself, Forza is barely a seller in America.

How much of its Americas sales are bundles? Surely not more than 750,000. That leaves around 2 million units in the Americas, which is only one region, so it is quite a feat.

Forza3 was bundled with the 360 during two holidays.  Its sales without the bundle are near nothing in NA i would imagine.

im sure sony will def. start bundling in gt5 this year

I thought Forza was bundled to hell and back for a very long time.  Surely that must be taken into account.

like psrock said, whats the point in this thread, its just another way for xbox fanboys to defend their evershrinking lead over ps3.  the only number that matters is worldwide.

An xbox fanboy, I am not. In fact, I have no intentions of EVER buying a Microsoft game or system no matter the quality of it.(which will probably offend someone, but at least I am honest). I was just commenting on the sales of the 2 best realistic racing games this gen(imo) in the Americas. Perhaps you thought to hard about my intentions for this thread?

Dang. Isn't my guesstimate fairly close though, if the bundling occurred heavily in Europe too? Just shy of 2 million in one region is not shabby at all.

Its been bundled for like the last 2 or 3 holiday season (forget when F3 was released) and like twice mid year. There have been more than 750k bundled. At least 1.5m were bundled.

Forza 2 and 3 got bundled to all hell and back and that's why they sold so well. Don't care though, 2 overrated series. Racing sims kinda suck to be honest, I already have to drive everyday.

Worldwide or in the Americas?
