so is this a sequel to demon souls or is it just bascially the same thing with a diffrent skin?

OMG this is so fantastic. Seamless and with more space to explore (makes Slimebeast extra happy) while still having the same setting in mediaval dark fantasy, same atmosphere and difficulty and themes like "high fantasy of kings and knights", "death and the depths of the earth", and "the flames of chaos".

It's like a new Final Fantasy, basically your going to get the same thing as before but everythings going to be different...if that makes sense.

Can't wait for this. A multiplatform, spritial successor to one of the most innovative and challenging RPGs of this gen with more exploration and no central hub? What more could you ask for?
