Well let's see those numbers

As far as we know we got

UK - 265k

What are the others for the EMEAA region?

First week sales...

UK: 265-275k
France: 235k
Spain: 92k
Italy: over 100k (record)
Finland: over 40k (double-platinum record)
India: over 20k (record)

Off-topic: GT5 became a console on N4G... LOLZ... HUGE HYPE.

So that is 752k. Meaning for EMEAA there is still 422k un-accounted for.

You would have to guess Germany would be about 150k. So after all the main markets it would leave around 272k for the small regions. I'd guess 25k-50k for AUS. 50k for the rest of Asia seeing as places like South Korea are more PC markets. Don't think it is even out in China. Didn't get a release in middle east until 30th november so would only count for 1 day in first week sales. Which leaves Africa and the little countries in Europe to 172k to split between them. I don't think it looks under-tracked, and if it is then it is probably by less then 100k.

I think your middle east africa estimate is off. Definitely not more than 100k imo if india only managed 20k. Dont forget alot of the copies we get are mostly EU or american copies. Trust me i live here :P.

Other than that i think your spot on, i think it's more like 1.2-1.3 million imo unless other europe is undertracked

Who said it sold 2.5m FW again ?

Apparently not Sony.

I have a question is their week and our week the same. Because didn't GT5 only have 4 days of sale in our week and by looking at week 2's numbers at least in EMEAA the drop doesn't seem that big so maybe it meant 2.5mil in first 7 days of sales. Ether way hopefully a credible source will list what it actually sold. If sony is refusing to confirm or deny those numbers though then don't use those numbers as proof that its undertracked. The real numbers could be higher or they could be lower.
