eh, my biggest problem with this video is the overhyping. could video game manufactures do better? yeah, of course. "Most dangerous threat the world has ever known"? Um...not quite.

When you make over exaggerated claims like this you lose credibility in all your claims, even the ones that are very important. I'm very pro-environment but they need to retool their approach or fail at everything, imo.

Still it is a lot of consoles expected to be scrapped eventually. But if any of you are like me - I have all my old consoles just sitting in the cupboard.

There are bigger problems in the world than beating the last boss in a videogame. How about instead of playing videogames, you help people to flee from wars in Africa or Asia. If you devoted your money and time into something little more productive than playing games then the world would be a much better place.

Hey, I'm not saying I have a cause. And I'm not already devoting my time and money into a cause. These people are though.

FYI, I'm not a big game player, I just like numbers :) I haven't even finished half of the games in my profile.

Edit: I also do volunteer work, like helping kids to read and servicing the people at the Thanksgiving/Christmas dinners for those with greater need in my community. 

I don't see the need to push for recycling consoles and the like...push for recycling all electronics if you must, but it's such a specific thing...sounds like a waste of time to me. Time better spent on more important issues.
