Forums - Gaming - Quatum Theory, what went wrong?

Why was this game such a flop. Could this game be the flop of the year? Could it be because they copied the gears of war formula? 20,000 between the 2 versions,is just shockingly terrible to me. I play the demo and did'nt think it was bad,but it wasn't great either? I kind of feel bad that they put all of that time into the game, only to bomb so badly?

I feel really bad for Tecmo, they made an attempt an failed. I also think that the western media is being way to harsh on it. After playing the demo, watching some gameplay vids and the Giant Bomb Quicklook, I've come to the conclusion that it's very similar to Gears of War, but it has a better frame rate. I wouldn't mind giving it a go eventually, but it's not even being stocked in Melbourne.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Top 5 reasons why this game sucks:

1. Tecmo made it

2. Tecmo ripped it

3. Tecmo double dipped in outsider gamers and one had to flop.

4. Tecmo needs to research Western games more.

5. ::Drum roll::

Curse of the Itagaki!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PLAY THE DEVILS THIRD!

they tried to copy every gameplay element from Gears and failed everytime.

But well it was totally obvious for me that the game would suck after watching the first trailer.

I don't know about Quatum Theory... maybe cause that game doesn't exist... >_>

...nnnnnnn..

The devs of Quantam Theory  were old school fools and added no innovations!!!!

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I believe it flopped because nobody has managed to correctly spell the title yet. Once someone does, it should sell like hotcakes.

It would've helped the sales if it were still exclusive, it would've gotten a little more hype to be honest...

Exclusivity couldn't have saved the sinking ship that was Quantum Theory.

Not really, the game was too shit in itself to get anything, it failed on its own merits.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

What's the point of buying a game that's not great?

Mediocricity doesn't always mean mediocre sales, it could also mean no sales.

I LOVE ICELAND!
