I believe I predicted 4-6 million a while back, and I'm sticking by that prediction after I bought the game and tried it out personally.



Soriku (Feb 10/08): In 5 years the PS3/360 will be dead.

for reals, that would take some crazy amount of bundles....i am going to go with 1.5 million. I hope it has them long sexy legs

The game has started off a lot slower than LittleBigPlanet (maybe we should have a thread about Sony's Play Create and Share line being in trouble) and this game won't have that game's advertising budget. Anyone thinking it'll match that games sales or even come close needs to think about the differences.

My prediction: It's off to a slow start: 1-1.5mill or so before any real significant bundling (if it ever receives it). Word of mouth will likely carry it though, so 2.5mill or so lifetime.

It wasn't even hyped that much at all on here.....where was this game mysteriously hyped?

Lower than most here, but at least it'll keep the average down so when some doom merchant decides to bump the thread 6 months from now the average won't be totally thrown out by that 4-6 million prediction ^^
