A better, more creative 2d mario game. One that has as much creativity and imagination as Galaxy has for 3d mario.

How about Mario starring in Super Microsoft Galaxy where Mario runs around fixing all things in different microsoft offices? Problem is there would be 1000's of stars to collect in this game and then he would come out of it with horrible PR.

Nintendo needs to make the next 2d Mario with the Galaxy engine. It would be ridiculous and a slap in the face for those who love 2d Mario if they don't.

"You guys are thinking about this the wrong way. It's what where will Mario go, it's where will the gameplay go. Setting has always been dictated by gameplay. It's Super Mario Galaxy because gravity is supposed to have an effect on gameplay, not viceversa. Super Mario Sunshine happened on Delfino Island because they wanted to make water a main component of gameplay. Whatever new idea is brought forth, that will determine the setting."

Sorry, but here you are wrong. The context (or contet) of the game can never be slave of the gameplay. That's why Galaxy is a mess and nothing makes sense. WTH is Loopdeeswoop Galaxy supposed to be? I have no idea. I river in space? WTF? They aren't there for any real purpose, just so you can solve the puzzle and pass to the next one.
