Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 are both great, great games, but where does the series go from here? I can't see Nintendo doing Super Mario Galaxy 3, at least not next. In terms of 3D Mario games, what's next in the evolution?
Bah!

Super Mario Universe.

After saving Peach four times in a row, he needs another vacation... so to Delfino Island again!
Kidding... but to Dinossaur Land again would be cool, including a huge map just like SMW, not worlds.

Well, here's how Mario got where he is today:
First, he had a bro. No, scratch that, he had THREE bros.
Then he got a few lands.
Then he got a world.
Then a 'sixty-four!', whatever that is.
Then he got a sun.
Then he got a NEW bro.
Then he got a Galaxy.
Then he got ANOTHER new bro.
And he's got a Galaxy, too.
All this points to a New Super Mario Sis's Wii.
Just give us another 2D Mario and we're happy.
Above: still the best game of the year.

I know people reviled Super Mario Sunshine, but I actually really liked it. I wouldn't mind Nintendo going back and revisiting Delfino Island again, and making a game that would put Sunshine to shame and maybe, just maybe getting people to look back on Sunshine and realize that it wasn't as terrible a game as people make it out to be.
That being said, I'd rather they not do that. I'd almost like to see them revisit Mario 64 instead and turn that on it's head somehow.
Bah!

It's still a turn-based Mario with the great humor and gameplay.
On the DS.
Why does that make it worse?
