If you look now on IGN,Gamepro etc they have now put up a note saying they have not yet received the review version of the PS3 game. It appears nobody has thus this report from nowgamer looks a bit less credible.

Someone out there must have this game on PS3 by now and can let us know the deal. I got it pre-ordered for my PS3 so would be cool to see if these rumours all over the net are just fanboy rubbish.

They proved to be a trusty website in the past.

Sorry mate i can't believe Rockstar would send the PS3 version to them over the other publications. I had never heard of them before and on the other forums seems others question their reliability. If IGN say there is no version then i believe them, they are a bigger website i would think.

Someone on the Gamespot forums mentions that the PS3 version has a lot of slowdowns when you are in the middle of a big gun fight and can see the pop outs in this video which is the PS3 version being played by some german magazine or something

they should and will be the same, if not then damn rockstar. the game got postponed so both versions are probably the same. all those rumours going around are wrong, when have rumours been correct?

Seems like it. I mean everybody knows there's horseys in NYC too! That missing detail really hurt IV in my mind :P.
