remember it takes 300 people to make a CoD game costing tens of millions in the process and sell just a couple million. Enter Nintendo who require 30 programmers costing thousands and sell hundreds of millions

I'm actually not surprised by this.
I think THIS year they will want to get MW2 out on Wii, and maximize the sale spotential of the port.
Next year, we may see Black Ops on Wii.

I expect Activision would rather do a year late port of the more popular CoD:MW2 than a simultaneous release of CoD:BO which I agree with. MW is higher profile so a year late or no, MW2 Reflex edition would probably sell better than CoD:BO Wii.
Either way, it's guaranteed profit for Activision. Their working on something. Afterall folks, this is Activision? Since when did they ever not milk a franchise to death?

And I guarantee you that a good game (not crap) on PC, PS3 and 360 that sells 2 million (all platforms added) is a flop. Just the fact of being an HD game, set's a 1 million as the break even mark. For exclusive games, that mark may go higher. For higher profile games, even if being multiplat, 1 million is always the low end to break even in said games.

Depends on your definition of crap. If a game like Yakuza 3 or 4 doesn't need to sell a million to be successful, why does every other HD game need to sell a million?
Maybe some developers spend too much (i.e. the ones that went bankrupt)? Maybe it all depend on the game in question? Maybe a game can be successful without selling a million if it sold well at full price versus the bargain bin?

I'm talking about the average game. Of course there's games that may rarely go below that mark in the same way some Wii game may have to sell over a million to be profitable, with super mario galaxy being an example of that.
A crappy game from HD game?

Feel free to choose, below 60 might be considered a crappy game. Got more on 360 that on PS3. (didn't know about that one)

Well how am I supposed to know the budget of each game? If you got that information please share. My guess is plenty of HD games don't need to sell a million to make a profit. Because I'm sure most developers are smart enough to know most of those games could never sell a million.
The developers that couldn't figure that out don't exist anymore.
