What are some little traditions/food/trends/etc that are normal where you live but might make foreigners go "wtf"?

For the sake of healthy discussion, please no culture warring or political infighting.

To begin, may I introduce you to Fairy Bread; a staple of every children's birthday party here in Australia; a beloved delicacy where we put rainbow ice cream sprinkles on white bread and butter:

The fact we shower twice, sometimes even thrice, a day. It can get really hot and wet here so people shower a lot

Back where I was born, brood met hagelslag voor ontbijt

We have a thing where people let their babies sleep outside in their strollers even in the middle of winter. They are of course clothed and wrapped to be nice and toasty in there, and they sleep like, well, babies.

Apparently it's weird to some folks that we eat kangaroo meat here too

In summer, it doesn't really get properly dark here at night. Or rather, it depends on where exactly you live, but I think the whole country experiences at least a short period where it doesn't get properly dark. Obviously it's not as bright as day, but for a while, it's definitely not dark either. I really love that aspect of summers here. I've been abroad properly only once in my life, and did it feel wrong to have dark nights in summer...

There's definitely folks from other countries that are also familiar with this, but only a fairly small amount of people live at latitudes where I would expect this to be the case, so I think it might be worth mentioning.

And pretty affordable I see. I tried Ostrich before, never Kangaroo. Am curious how it tastes.

It's similar to lamb or beef but very lean. 

I like it and cook with it a lot, healthier option as its so low on fat.

We eat small rolls of minced pork (or sheep) meat (grilled) with mustard sauce from a small, paper tray at pretty much every organised urban and rural event. The name of the food is literally translated to "littles" aka "mici".

Most outsiders think that they are disgusting but we quite enjoy them.
