Apparently, Americans like ice cubes in our drinks more than is normal.

Another Dutch 'special' food are Olliebollen for Christmas / New Year

It's basically the precursor of doughnuts, a ball of dough fried in oil with raisins and powdered sugar.

Back in Canada Poutine originated in Quebec

Fries with cheese curds in brown gravy.

Americans aren't the only ones who eat unhealthy haha.

After moving to Canada I also learned that putting mayonaise on fries isn't normal here. That comes more from Belgium I think, no limit to sauces to put on fries.

All good hangover cures lol.

I guess it's hard to realize something we normaly do can be seen as weird or different by others, hence why most posts focus on food.

Talking about food, in the same way that Italians, and thanks to immigration also Argentinians, eat lentils for new year, in Spain we eat 12 grapes during the midnight chimes, one for each of them.

it's supposed to bring good luck.

Please excuse my bad English.

The World Cup coming to the US has created some great culture shock content, lol.

Apparently it's weird to some folks that we eat kangaroo meat here too

And pretty affordable I see. I tried Ostrich before, never Kangaroo. Am curious how it tastes.

For what it's worth, ostrich is way better in my opinion (but kangaroo is good too).

Some of you haven't posted the country you come from. It would be interesting to know where these habits come from.

Brazilian people are said to brush their teeth way more often than other people in the world. After every meal, we do it. A lot of us carry our own toothbrush with us in our bags so that we can brush your teeth in schools, at work and such. There are people who brush their teeth even after a small snack. We also do it when we wake up. Me personally, I think I brush my teeth even more than an avarage brazilian. In addition to doing everything I mentioned previously, I hate morning breath, so every time I wake up during late night to take a leak, I brush my teeth, specially my tongue. On avarage, I do this twice or three times before I properly wake up. And of course, I brush my teeth again.

The greatest hangover cure in Ireland

The late late toy show an annual tradition in Ireland that probably makes no sense to anyone outside of Ireland. Literally the biggest television event of the year.
