Another Dutch 'special' food are Olliebollen for Christmas / New Year



It's basically the precursor of doughnuts, a ball of dough fried in oil with raisins and powdered sugar.

After moving to Canada I also learned that putting mayonaise on fries isn't normal here. That comes more from Belgium I think, no limit to sauces to put on fries.
