good sales for the ps5 my guess of 5 million lifetime units this year could come true. If the ps5 continues to have good sales next year. I believe the console can surpass the PS3 in lifetime sales

Slow start to the holiday season for Switch. So far they've had a stronger year than I expected in Japan though. TOTK seemed to turn the tide as the beginning of the year was slow sales wise but during and after the summer the Switch was doing remarkably well for it's age.

Week 47 and 48 however are the weakest of any year by quite a distance. Still, even if it doesn't pick up in December it's still had a good showing for 2023 overall considering it's age.

Good to know that Black Friday still isn't a thing in Japan :D

Pikmin 4 is the biggest surprise to me. It has awesome legs and is up 59% this week.

Switch should sell over 100k next week, otherwise we can't talk about a holiday season anymore :D

2019 Switch coming back a vengeance now. 4.5 million for the year now looks out of reach even with an extra week.

As Zippy said above, 2023 overall will have been great for Switch considering its age, thanks to TotK, though this slow end to the year (despite some more pretty big software releases) doesn't bode well for 2024.

If things don't pick up quick for Switch, 2019 is going to overcome 2023 next week.

Switch will still do around 4.2 millions which is insane for the run it had already.

Seeing Switch selling less than 100k al this point of the year for 2 weeks in a row.... Still good numbers of course, great for a 7 years old consolé, but way low for switch Standard. Also has had Big releases and new Oled model that dis nota push Up sales.... Seems like the time tonssy goodbye is coming
