Star Wars is 6 movies, 3 or 4 of them aren't even considered that good by fans of Star Wars. They're aimed specifically at the young (Probably 6-20 year old) male demographic and fans of iconic media.

Star Trek has 5 different main series' covering 28 different seasons, and 11 different feature length films. These also serve cover a much wider variety of target audiences:

The original series is more for the hardcore trekkie and people who are into iconic film/TV; Deep Space 9 is for the people who want to follow the politics and such of the Star Trek Universe; Voyager is more interesting for non-Star Trek fans, and more of an adventure series full of really unique ideas; Enterprise I hear is very good, but suffered from similar problems to many other Sci-Fi series' like Caprica, where it was intended to hook on a wide audience, but instead ended up being much more niche. The Next Generation has the widest appeal and takes on elements from all of the different series.

So I feel they are very different. Obviously there is much much more to Star Trek than Star Wars. In terms of the volume of material, it is like asking "What do you like more, Ice Cube or Rock music?"

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

i love both, but they are not in any way comparable.
i won't comment on any of the books made in either series because i have not read them.
Star Wars is a set of 6 movies where i personally only enjoy the original trilogy and i cringe every time George Lucas rereleases them and adds/changes things that do not need to be changed.
Star Trek is 11 movies and 5 tv-series i only recently got into Star Trek, but as soon as i got hooked i went out and bought all the TV-series + 5 of the movies so far.
i personally prefer Star Trek because i like the different themes present in that universe, while the themes in Star Wars are more black and white in my opinion.

Why compare them? They're barely in the same genre!

I'll go step by step.

Star Destroyer vs Enterprise

Outside of fanboy love for one side or another, who wins largely relies on whether you believe in stat books or in "feats".

Example, you see two ships attempt to accomplish the same vital feat. One of them succeeds, and the other fails, however the stat books say the other has the more powerful weapons.

Star Wars has a much more impressive "technical loadout" however Star Trek the enterprise actually has better "feats".

If you're a stats book person, the Enterprise shouldn't be able to even hurt a star destroyer.

If you're a feats person, the star destroyer shouldn't be able to hit the enterprise, and will be picked apart by the much smaller ship.

I prefer Star Jones.

I agree with Jumpin, he summed things up pretty good. That said I prefer Star Trek, some much more material to enjoy.

One thing I would like ot know is how did you come to compare Shatner and Fisher?

Star Wars is way more accessible to everyone...

However I like both franchises...

Star Trek has Spock and Kirk but Star Wars has Darth Vader.

So to me, its Star Wars.

Star destroyer vs Enterprise?

Well that's easy, enterprise would simply beam everyone aboard the star destroyer into a holo deck simulation and let them think they win. Then beam the whole simulation into a holocube and fire it off into deep space.
