So what is it?

Star Wars 68 48.57%

Star Trek 51 36.43%

A nice booty 6 4.29%

This is like comparing Ap... 11 7.86%

other 4 2.86%

Total:140

Now Federation vs Empire, that's an interesting one too...

if only because the Empire is essentially the size of the entire Star trek galaxy.... yet they have far fewer ships. So the question is, how many ships could they build?

As for Star Trek vs Star Wars in a hypothetical battle. Star Trek has the Q's. Which are essentially god.

Star trek will win because they always come up with an anticlimatic way to win the day, and wy fight the jedi/rebellion would probably join forces and crush the imperial romula alliance :p
love the old star wars and the retro star trek series (the shatner and bakula versions)

Against the combined might of the Jedi and Sith.........Eh... Obvious. Not to mention in some of the books they have a small one man craft capable of destroying solar systems.... Star Wars Vs Star Trek? You can't compare them because Star Wars is in another league. It would take DragonBall Z to be able to beat Star Wars an well that has Vegeta and Goku in it. ;)

Are we forgetting that about 100 Ewoks and a few rebels took out the Empire? Not only did they destroy a death star once in about three years time, but they destroyed it twice! The first time with a small ship, the second time with a little bigger ship and some other ones that were destroyed. Voyager on Star Trek survived the Delta System! Does anyone remember Hell Season? Shiiiit Star Trek has the Star Wars boys by the balls!

That's because the ewoks were the good guys and well, they pretty much always win, even against impossible odds which is probably your voyager survived your delta zone and hell season, the way you explained it they too seem impossible situations in which the good guys somehow managed to get though, how familiar.

One sith inside the enterprise would be able to  kill all the crew single handedly, you also didn't note my comment about the one man ship capable of destryoing a solar system, that's the only thig needed really...

Star Trek.

Except... if your counting Star Wars vs Star Trek... that would give Star Trek the Q.

Q is a mischievous, slightly threatening, purportedly omnipotent being who has taken an interest in humans. Q's power is thus far limited only in that he cannot overcome others in the Q Continuum. He can apparently stop death, create life, travel through time, stop time, multitask/create multiple versions of himself and create entire worlds effortlessly. He can change a person's mind or make them take any action.

Not... exactly something the jedi can handle.  Hell, the Q could quite literally wipe out everyone in the star wars universe at the blink of an eye.  Hell, the first time a Q is met in Star Trek canon, it puts humanity on trial to see if he should wipe them all out.

right on, and here is a little taste of what Q can do. Well you get the picture, he can create anything out of nothing.

Well that's an assumption that might not necessarily be accurate. Perhaps the "Galaxy far far away" is much smaller than the Milky Way galaxy; maybe a hundred-thousand to a million stars as opposed to the ~600 billion stars in the Milky Way galaxy. In other words, it might be that the Milky Way is hundreds of thousands to millions of times larger.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

star wars isnt even in the same league as star trek. Star wars is only 6 movies, 3 of which are awful.

Star Wars. It is a classic tale of good versus evil. Darth Vader trumps all in Star Trek.

For every Star Trek fan that bad mouths the prequel trilogy, I bring up the Star Trek episode The Trouble With Tribbles. Not only is it the worst Star Trek episode ever, it is one of the worst episodes of anything ever. It has to be seen to be believed.

Also, I never cared for Captain Kirk. Picard was light years better.
