I thought Nintendo Switch would cuase a spike, it's mighty hard to navigate through all the games that come to that system. Ps1 adn two being more than PS4 is also wild, never would have thought.

I felt like PS3 had more games than PS4, but it's maybe because I like more single player games, and those that can be played on couch co-op, and in the PS4 era, there were many more multiplayer only titles than the PS3 one, and a lot more multiplayer oriented ones, that had some small singleplayer part in them, and were 80% online. Back in PS3 days, the default for every game was the singleplayer it was almost always there, and the multiplayer was not available in all games, and in those that was, it was fun and it was interesting, like extra content to the game, not the main thing to do. The orientation for the micro transactions was also in the PS4 era more which to me it changed the way they began developing the multiplayer portion of the games.
