Lol, you understand that things like this is only hype speech right? Will things look good on PS5? Yes. Did we already expect this because it is the most logical evolution of a successor over a predecessor? Yes, I did anyway.

Did you really expect ps5 to be much more powerful than the ps4? Wii, wii u and switch werent much more powerful than their predecessor

PS2, PS3 and PS4 were and Sony hasn't in the past got creative and defined new gen differently than over the more power route. If we would discuss next-gen Nintendo your comparison would make more sense.

Why does it not hold much weight to you being from the Yakuza team?

Sure Sega is no Sony and Yakuza is no Horizon Zero Dawn, but Yakuza 6 on the PS4 looks pretty good. The guys definitely have some talent on developing nice graphics, even if to the low middle degree of AAA.

Or is it something personal against the team members you particularly don't like much?

It's nothing personal, their graphics just aren't anywhere near top tier on PS4 and their map design is two generations old and tired... *reply loading*... and they don't seem to squeeze as much juice, not even close actually, as is in the juice carton.

Well, Yakuza Zero and Kiwami were PS3 games in Japan, that's why the graphics aren't mindblowing. 6 and Kiwami 2 though were made with the PS4 in mind and look absolutely stunning.

Have a wee look at Hiroshima and Sotenbori. Shit's amazing!

Too bad that doesn't mean much these days...

There is a reason why I put the title in quotations, so instead of attacking each other, and down play the Yakuza guy message. How about y'all address exactly what he said and about what this means for future Yakuza series.

However, yes every gen comes with improvements, but next gen is shaping up to be a giant leap forward as the Yakuza guy expressed. This is very reminiscent like how the PS3 leap frog everything in its era.

He said that the PS4 will remain the main focus even after the PS5 has been released.

Funny enough, your statement is the only thing that actually got me to click the article.

Agreed. I still love my PS4, but I am so ready for the PS5. And because it's B/C, I can still address my backlog and sell my PS4 to go towards the purchase of the PS5.

Frankly as much as i like better hardware they might focus on the psn store first jfc what a shithole

What?  I'm agreeing with you.  You were ranting about shills going crazy over tech demos, right?  Or did I misunderstand the direction you were coming from?

I guess so. It kind of echoes some previous instances. In case of Sony we have a whole conference of that:

It's a very entertaining video.

A whole conference of tech demos?  Really?
