but i don't have your silly ideology

why do you think you bear no responsibility for helping the poor and place it all on people who have more than you?

you said sam harris does not need any more money and the same applies to you

you aren't taking your excess income and helping the poor, instead you're spending it on the internet and a computer to virtue signal about how OTHER people need to take care of the poor... what are you personally doing for the poor?

LOL the same doesn't apply to me last time I checked I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth and have millions of dollars of disposable income.  Thanks for another pointless comment.  You probably should go buzz off and listen to some more of Alex Jones BS and while your at it buy some of his snake oil.

wow are you really trying to make the argument that you have to be born with a silver spoon to help the poor, no all that is necessary is that you devote time and effort and money if you can spare it

so its other people's responsibility and you don't care, that's my point

i know people that in their spare time they cook food and gather clothing that others do not want and they spend their time distributing these items among the needy, since their concern for the poor is sincere they get off their ass and actually commit a portion of their lives to doing something

they wouldn't have the time to spend here virtue signalling

if it was really about the poor you'd be spending the time you are here virtue signalling and the time and money you spend playing video games helping the poor

but of course on your hierarchy of values, bashing the rich, virtue signalling online and playing video games come above the poor

and the thing that is truly disturbing is that when it comes to people espousing these ideas you are typical not an aberration

i'm not a fan of alex jones, never have been

Or alternatively because they are hangouts for Nazis and Mass Murders, but what is the difference, right?

Right, none of that on major platforms.

Generally the major platforms try to police themselves so when Nazis start showing up to have their little chats about gassing Jews, they are told to GTFO. Nobody is trying to get these "conservative" platforms shut down until they start becoming hotbeds of hate.

Note: I don't feel the need to respond to the rest of your post because it didn't address anything mentioned in my post.

Nothing other than being right winged and the Pateron not wanting him to have a platform to spread his opinion.

Ok, and? Why does this guy deserve a platform? He has a right to speak but he doesn't have a right to a megaphone. Why don't conservatives get this? You're not entitled to someone else's site or service. Just as I can kick someone out of my house for saying something I don't like you can get kicked off a website for the same reason. The first amendment protects you from the government and violence not people telling you to shut up

What are you on about? Sam Harris dropped Patreon because he believes in free speech, which this clearly is against. That's his protest and he's free to do it, why do you have an issue with it? They're free to do as they will I have no problem with a private company doing as such, even if it is the definition of being a fascist which nutty leftist love using willy nilly.

Hypocrites of the highest order, scream about discrimination when that one baker refused to bake a cake for a gay wedding but have no problem when discrimination of political views comes into the focus, well make your mind up on what you believe or do you just set the goal post when it suits your beliefs?

Racism and supporting it is neither conservative nor a valid opinion. Racism is a crime and I therefore applaud Patreon for taking a stand and stop supporting those people.

It's one thing to ban a couple extremist users, and another to simply ban anybody with a political view you do not like. Seems like a complete overreaction to the situation. When Joe six pack can't make his Trump fanboy videos and be supported anymore, then maybe I'll consider Patreon being a bad company.

That Baker has the right to not make a gay couple a cake just as I have the right to applaud the fact that he apparently ended up loosing over 40% of his business  because of his backwards discriminatory beliefs. thats how freedom of speech works, Harris has the right to drop patreon, patreon has the right to drop creators they don't like and Sargon has the right to be a YouTube edge lord. It seems like conservatives understand the freedom of speech part of the 1st amendment but they don't understand that everyone's reaction to said speech are also protected.

Patreon cancelling accounts has nothing to do with free speech, it has to do with them delivering a service or not. Harris excersice his free speech when he spoke out about something he disagreed on, or are you claiming that he used free speech when he cancelled an account? 🙂

The difference between cancelling an account because of political beliefs and refusing service because of sexual orientation is that, as far as u know, the baker hadn't signed an agreement with the customer with terms of service? Also, one of those two examples is not a choice as far as we know, that is why people react harder when you discriminate because of sexual orientation.

It most certainly does, these people were removed because the platform doesn't agree with them not because they broke the terms of agreement, that is far worse than the baker case. It's out right fascism and not the pretend meaning modern liberals use, like calling anyone right wing a nazi. Just like with the baker case just go to another service they will happily feel the void that's created by that bigotry.

Okay cool I got it discrimination is acceptable when the left decide if it's okay or not, it's either all okay or none.
