Ya I agree and I think Sony cares a lot about Japan.

It goes beyond just caring about a market. Microsoft made a big push for Japan with the 360 in the early stages, needless to say it never paid off. Europe is Sony's territory, I am not sure the Xbox brand will ever succeed there either. I live in Puerto Rico which is a US territory/colony but I guess in terms of video games we are somewhat like Europe lol. The island is mostly PS4. Out of my co-workers and friends. 7 of us have a PS4 only  2 have an Xbox 1, 3 of us have a Switch. When GameStop left the island and the game's were on Sale all PS4 games sold out quickly. There were butt loads of Xbox one games left at bargain price...( I was actually sorry that I didn't own an Xbox one then lol) .

This is true.  PR is Sony territory.  The Switch is doing quite well in here.  The Xbox One not so much.

Is there any hope for XBox improvement?

Doubt it.  I think it’s only downhill from here for Xbox.  The 1X failed to have any real impact and this generation belongs to Sony and Nintendo now. Although mainly Sony, Nintendo have shown once again that they can bounce back from anything.

Sony want to make money by selling art, Nintendo want to make money by selling fun, Microsoft want to make money.

Well Xbox ONE sales are over 20% above last year's sales (from 2.42M last year to 2.98M this year), so it has a tangible effect - the problem is just that PS4 and Switch are so far ahead it's barely noticeable.

Sure... next gen,  curious what they will do to counter all the negativity they caused on themselves at the start of this gen.

They got decent IP's to work with but need to invest in them.

Since when does a limited edition need mass appeal? And this is Pokemon we're talking about.. this bundle will sell out.

Since the user mentioned the word "dominate". That requires mass appeal.

Of course the bundle will sell out. It's a limited edition. It's not going to dominate anything though, especially in the holidays.

Yeah, but the post you answered on said the Switch will dominate. Bundle is just one step to domination. I myself aren't sure if Switch is going to dominate, but I expect it to be most sold. Domination means in my eyes most sold with a big gap, which is something I'm not sure about yet. But Pokemon and Smash (not the bundles but the games) certainly make it a possibility.
