It's not really a surprise since Switch was already doing this during the first few months of the year, but I'm still surprised it's staying close to 200k weekly. I don't think it'll last another month and a half to Mario Party, but eh we'll see!

Wow very close PS4/Switch with the PS4 edging it out. Man it just keeps on chugging along and selling. The Switch I can't wait to see the numbers when Pokemon/SMash release. With Spidey for Sept I would assume the PS4 will knock it out the park. And with COD BO4 and RDR2 still has some stuff to use. XB1 compared to the other 2 just not looking all that great at all.

Ps4 over 200k!!

Imagine how much it outsells the competition in September when it tracks spidey launch if it's the top seller now

Switch despite second place still selling well although it's sales will drop in September if mediacreate sales are reflected WW.

Xbox not so good. 3ds on its last legs. Vita ded.

Edit: just noticed that sometimes like this week ps4 in Japan sells more then its xbox rival does for the whole of Europe. I don't want to ever hear Japan ain't important for Sony again! That would be like saying Europe isn't important for Microsoft when it clearly is.

People say all the time that Xbox does very poorly outside of NA & UK.

We know that but does Microsoft not care about Europe which btw includes the uk? I highly doubt they don't care despite doing badly this gen.

Ya I agree and I think Sony cares a lot about Japan.

Well, the streak ends at 5 weeks for the Switch as the PS4 retakes the weekly lead.

Great PS4 numbers. I can't wait for Spider-Man effect. I'm having so much fun with the game.

This has got to be in the running for the closest global weekly numbers ever.

Switch and PS4 pretty much tied. Xbox just ticking over in the background.
Although Spider-Man for PS4 coming up fast.

And when it does, cue the music!! :D

*FWIP!!*

I remember there was a thread in which someone counted how many n°1 weeks each console had, I wonder how it's like for this year
