Just so people know. US and PAL release dates for the PS4 version (and Xbox One version) of Shining Resonance Refrain were incorrect so that may be why it was missing from their respective charts, which in turn affected its appearance in the Global chart.
Switch is dominating for the time being. It will likely stay that way until Spiderman drops.
Nice opening for Octopath. We already know it barreled past 1 million later on, so it was going on that way or has a lot of digital sales. I'm very happy, Octopath deserves the success and hopefully we see more games like that, round-based RPG with that kind of polish and quality.
It's a slow time of the year and all, but whatever, that's the Switchiest global top ten I can recall seeing. Top XBO game is at #23. Ow..........OW!

Octopath's digital ratio will be crazy high given the physical shortages and its tiny file size.

Yeesh, just noticed that. Plus its doing less than half of either PS4 or Switch in the hardware charts. MS really laid a dud this gen, Xbox One is a lost cause. At this point I'd say they're better off holding off and saving Halo Infinity as a launch title for the Nextbox.
I hope Microsoft recovers next generation. I know it's unlikely to see Microsoft leaving the market anyway, but I want them more competitive next generation so we can keep 3 strong companies in the market.
God bless You.
My Total Sales prediction for PS4 by the end of 2021: 110m+
When PS4 will hit 100m consoles sold: Before Christmas 2019

The top ten is basically Nintendoland aside from God of War still up there, and Jurassic World Evolution, which I'm pretty confident will drop out of the top ten next week, so unless there were any new releases in July, I reckon it could potentially be 9/10 of the games being on Switch, lol. Also look how close Super Mario Odyssey is to 10m! :o |
To be fair, it reached 10m back in March, but I'm curious to see what kind of numbers it pulls on the holidays.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
