Well, VGC has a big plus going for it in that the mods admitted that they should have handled it better and explained themselves. Only be worried if they fail to do so in the future.

Could just be lazy writing rather than an agenda for female empowerment over the patriarchy, then again their alignment with Anita is pretty damning from the off in my eyes, that woman is poison to all she can lay her hands on.

But yeah the trope of showing the audience how strong a new character is by having them beat up someone the audience knows to be very strong, it goes back decades.

 

Love where that effect got the name too.... Worf literally a bag of muscles on the Bridge of the Enterprise who's sole role is to get thrown across the set when each new villain is revealed to be strong.

She even complains about the last of us, cause joel has to help ellie with the crates in the water, its makes woman look weak according to her. The president of naughty really supporting her like that is really sad, makes me not even wanna play their games anymore.

Not sure why you're giving attention to Gamer Gaters and Status Quo Warriors. I mean geez, look at the name of the site, it's right in the title. Almost everyone that uses the term SJW is a warrior themselves, just for the status quo instead of social justice. It's getting to the point that people are taking a militant attitude towards any sign of giving a shit about anything about fairness in society for any non-majority group. How dare I care about gay people! The audacity! Except it goes further than that even, to the point where if there's a woman or a black person in a game, especially a major role, the SQWs cry SJW. It's laughable really. They don't deserve our attention.

i mean the people fighting against the notion that they're no biological differences between the sexes are not so much status quo warriors as they are anti-delusion warriors

It isn't wrong to cater to different demographics but the way Naughty Dog is going for it should be criticised and their games boycotted. Ah well, their games were overrated anyways. Sony has better devs like Sony Santa Monica, Sucker Punch, Polyphony, Guerilla Games and Media Molecule.
