I can't believe that Breath of the Wild is already one year old! And soon it will be two years since we got to see the first gameplay videos.

I still watch this one every now and then. Such a good trailer.

Agreed. Gives me goosebumps every time and a heavy urge to play it.

Yes this! Its very fast and snappy like on smartphones. A HUGE improvement to the Wii U and 3DS.

A CRAZY improvement for Nintendo consoles for sure but also one for any consoles i think. I get PS4/One have more options still but i just think the Switch is just so convenient how you can open it and play in literally 5 seconds and you can turn it off and comeback at the same exact play you were in your game in also 5 seconds. And also how fast it is to transfer from dock to portable and vice versa.

Also i want to add, the fact my switch is opening my tv on it's own AND changing the setting of my tv to select the Switch HDMI section is crazy to me. Like i can just sit and open the Switch with the pro controller and everything turns on by itself lol. It's MAGIC :3

Yeah I love that too. You basically dont need to wait for the loading times unless you have to change games. And yeah, I was surprised it done that as well. Does the recent new technology do that now?

Pocky Lover Boy!

Switch had me playing it almost all year after I finally got one in May. Zelda, Splatoon, Odyssey, and Mario x Rabbids kept me glued to the system. Xenoblade 2 destroyed my life for a good solid month. I found myself playing it until the sun came up every night. Nearly 300 hours put into it, and now there's an update! Even if Switch were suddenly taken off store shelves today, with no new games ever it would still offer another full year's enjoyment via indies, and replay factor alone.

Super Mario Odyssey, Breath Of The Wild and Mario+Rabbids are the three standouts for me. Such awesome games. Had the Switch since launch and still loving it

Been only playing xeno... cant wait for pokemon

Congrats nintendo. Thanks to the switch,i now can sucessefully being anti-social with anything other than the 3ds :)

For real tho,it was cool to make my class play mario kart instead of counter strike for a change. Also, the mario odyssey trailer was a joy to watch.

Breath of the Wild made me feel like a kid again, getting SNES or Super Mario Bros 3, or showing me the potential of RPGs with the first time I played FF4 (Final Fantasy II) - which I had enormous trouble getting it on the first time because it was my first import title.

My imagination ran wild with what “Zelda 64) was going to be - and it was Breath of the Wild that finally raised the series up to that level that my wild imagination expected. I didn’t hate Ocarina of Time, but I couldn’t stare off into the distance and see vast landscapes, and lands that would take me a long time to reach; and dozens of adventures to have along the way. The emergent gameplay, the secrets, the exploration; I never thought Zelda would take it this far. It broke what, to me, felt like 2 decades of formulaic stagnation. I haven’t had this amount of fun and satisfaction with any game outside of Xenogears - which incidentally had s me of the same people working on it (Makoto Shimamoto has been alongside Takahashi since 1995, worked on Chrono Trigger, Radical Dreamers, Xenogears, Xenosaga 1-3, Xenoblade Chronicles 1 and X, and was a Designer on Breath of the Wild.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Congrats to Nintendo for the great success of the console . I still don't have a Switch but I will someday have one.

I bought the Switch at launch, along BoTW, Metal Slug 3 and KoF 98.

I always wanted to play Neo Geo games.
For some reason, i didn't pay much attention to the VC during the Wii days. Good thing they are coming to Switch! :)

BoTW has been... amazing to play, to be honest.
I can't believe i have played it for 160 hours. The last time that happened was surely, more than 20 years ago.

As a huge fan of the very first Zelda even to this day, it's been a delight to play this game and have a glimpse of what i felt when i was playing Zelda 1 and just explored that world every single day.
One of the things that most impressed me about it was the sense of quietness and silence and how intelligent the music was.

I really, really, hope the next Zelda has such a beautiful world.

My lowest moment was with Odyssey.
The game shines on a lot of points, but really dissapoints in general.
In 3D World, i was constantly amazed at the levels, the cool water effects, the lighting, the creativity. Odyssey, barely had that, to me.
