yup saw the film on opening day in Germany. A good action flick. Nothing too spectacular, but worth watching.
Not necissarily better or worse than Force Awakens or Jurassic World, but at it least didn't disappoint my modest expactations unlike those other two movies...

If Furious 7 was anything to go by (this is the only other Fast and Furious movie that I have seen), this should be fun action movie. With this performance I wonder if it will be able to take the #5 spot (currently held by Avengers) on the top grossing films of all time (not adjusted for inflation).

Saw it on release day, It's alright :)

Not a big fan of the series as it moves along. The first 3 or 4 were great, but by the 5th film, the direction of the franchise really changed from its original direction. The 7th was hard to get through from start to finish. The teasers and trailers for the 8th, leave me with little interest.

The first movie is the best though, hands down. That Eclipse, RX-7, and Supra. Tuner classics. Tokyo Drift is a close 2nd.

I like the first movie and the 5th one (which is a pretty decent heist movie), but the rest are kinda crappy IMO.

But you have to hand it to them to make a 9 movie franchise out of a small idea.

Around the Network

Dunno how this series keeps getting bigger and bigger. You'd think people would be getting tired of it by now. This looks like the Die Another Day of the franchise.

a great franchise overall, omg love Michelle Rodriguez

still, the figures are a bit too much ($1,5 billion+ ) for a low substance and full action series, so while I like the franchise, I also think the last 2 entries are over-rated

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

The continued success and popularity of this series just keeps baffling me with every new release. I kinda just forgot about it after the first movie was just ok, and now its one of the biggest movie franchises in existence, with each new movie having increasingly flimsy connection to the series origin.

Great news.

Dwayne Johnson continues to keep his streak alive of being one of the most bankable actors.

About the film, I always liked cars, and I don't really understand why so few movies try to implement them. A lot of people probably started watching due to the car hooks, and now continue to watch the franchise.

This series continues to prove that the vast majority of moviegoers just need to see explosions, fighting, and/or general ridiculous action to keep them coming back. Good job Hollywood, you've got the formula on lock.
