Wow...that is a jagged blurry mess both docked and undocked...

Do remember, Nintendo uses jpeg compression on the screenshots.
The compression is quite bad, and reduces the quality of the image greatly.

JPEG compression doesn't create aliasing though, and that's the biggest issue in the docked screenshot, jaggies EVERYWHERE.

It does, when you make a screenshot of Zelda ypu can see lots of jaggies, however you don't see those jaggies at all on portable mode, even if the screenshot is of the same size as the screen.

No JPEG compression doesn't do that. If the screenshots have jaggies while the gameplay does not something else is at play. Bad Image scaling for example, though that should only happen if the screenshot is a different resolution to the game.

Found another screenshot that was taken recently, this one doesn't have the Aliasing issues, it's not a good looker but it's much better then the image shown in the OP.

Yeah, but that was not my point.
also, in motion the game looks quite nice.
I played the game for two hours on a 1440p 27 inch IPS screen sitting about 1m away, and the game did not look That bad (from my recollection).
I think the game is using a dynamic resolution; regardless I enjoyed myself immensely in my experience, and that's all I care about.

This is a beta designed to test the servers (and advertise the game), the full game may be at 1080p docked.

Yeah, that looks more like what I saw from the testfire yesterday. A bit better than the WiiU version.

I swear OP only makes topics to shit on Nintendo in some way every time.

Nintendo deserve it though.

Anno 2017 530p is still a thing especially since the car and bike look awful. Nintendo should maximise the graphical potential the Switch offers. Not releasing something with the resolution of Wii games.

Lol, so mad yet this will be the best selling game in japan in a long time

The reception to the testfire has been really positive. So, ofcourse the opposition has to start pixel counting.
