Call of duty, most of my friends play it but I've never been able to enjoy the series.

There are several franchises that I try and try again, and always realize after a couple of hours that I am simply not having fun: GTA, Monster Hunter, console Zelda titles (I adore the handheld versions), Pokemon, Gran Turismo, the vast majority of sport franchises, Diablo, World of Warcraft (loved 1,2,3) and a couple of others that dont come to my mind right now. There are of course exceptions as well to these rules (Vice city captured me with the looks and I used to play a whole lot of PES in the old days) and I often see why people like them, but they simply dont manage to hold my attention for more than 3-4 hours.

sry for my bad english - it is not my 1st language

Racing games, I used to love them as a child. But idk when but at a certain point, I stopped liking them; I've tried and tried over the past couple years to enjoy them again but nothing. There was a brief spark in my liking them again when Forza Horizon came out back on 360 but I couldn't get into FH2 and 3 so I'm guessing racing games are now dead to me.

Edit: I miss Burnout and Midnight Club games. Those were like my two favorite racing games back on PS2. (along with Gran Turismo and Need For Speed)

Edit 2: I know I listed a whole genre of games instead of a single game, for just a single game; I'd say Forza Horizon 3 as a recent one.

Dead Island, for sure. Looked pretty exciting from the get go. But man, it's so repetitive and straight up boring.

Overwatch

Pocky Lover Boy!

Fire Emblem before Awakening - The perma-death feature is just not my taste.
Super Paper Mario - It's just boring.
Bioshock franchise - Really repetitive gameplay and scenery. 1 and 2 underwater and 3 in the sky, but the game is still the same at its core and I think it is pretty boring.
Dark Souls - Way too difficult for me. I tried. I enjoy the art style and dark fantasy setting. But I can't get past the bosses so, don't care about the whole franchise.
Witcher 1 - Really bad gameplay and presentation.
Halo 1 - Copy/Paste level Design. Running through the same room 10 times on multiple maps. Just made me hate the entire franchise.
Wind Waker - Too much water. I just hate games with boring sailing through endless water.

Unpopular opinion, watch out: Uncharted, the gameplay is boring, should have rather been a movie.

Mighty No. 9. I wanted to see for myself how bad this is, and yes, it is bad, mostly due to a combination of unfair level design and long loading times after every death.

Forgot Halo 2. Also thought my problem with the Halo series was the terrible og XBox controller, but when I got Halo 2 for Windows with keyboard/mouse I realized that the levels were just poorly designed and boring.

Dark Souls... I played Dark Souls 2 for a few hours... couldn't get into it. Played the first Dark Souls for about 2-ish hours... also played a couple of hours of Demon Souls... yeah Souls games just never hook me.

Also I had a hard time getting into Witcher 3... I'm going to try it again probably.
