As others have said, there is little chance of that happening.The game makes way too much money everywhere to make this a reasonable decision, and tying it to one system will make it much less profitable, not to mention that will anger fans.And Minecraft isnt the system seller it once was.

The reason why Minecraft will come to all platforms is because of the huge community. MS want that community more than they care about getting a few people to purchase their console. MS want that community using their products and services and MS can still deliver those products and services no matter what machine people play Minecraft on.

To entice people to the XB platform, MS will use incentives like cross by with you PC and Mobile device. The ability to take the same world you created within one environment and play it on multiple different hardware like your Phone and your PC/XB. Its in MS best interest to keep the MC community growing and strong to keep the money flowing and instead try to woe the community on the XB platform with special incentives.

Minecraft is minecraft. It sells a shit ton. Heck I have it on the 360, PS4 and Wii U. I will also be buying it for the Switch. No way they will do that as it brings them a lot of money.

False, it would make people buy the Xbox 360/One/PC/Windows 10 version instead so Minecraft will still be alive but not as big as before.
