It's funny, the more I hear this, the less it makes sense. I vaguely recall continually charging my 3DS. So I decided to check online and compare battery lives: The range of the 3DS XL is supposed to have 3.5-6.5 hours of battery life average. The range of the N3DS is supposed to have 3.5-6 hours of battery life average. The range of the 3DS XL is supposed to have 3.5-7 hours of battery life average. The range of the Vita is supposed to have 3-5 hours of battery life average. (By Sony's account; Another source says it can last 3-7) The battery life of the original DS can lasts to around 10 hours, and that system came out 13 years ago.

The problem I'm having difficulty grasping is in what way is the battery life of the Switch bad? It's comparable to most handhelds and better than some.
And the game that was cited to last 3 hours was Zelda, a console game which no handheld can play so it clearly doesn't represet the as a handheld in optimal conditions.
This I don't get either. Out of the games announced there are basically 5 games on the Wii U. 3 of which are on basically every platform. In what way is that most

You do know that they said it will only last 3 hours playing Zelda? The 3DS lasts more than 6 hours. I can tell you that much. Also, easier to recharge. You don't have to go back home every 3 hours. ^^
As for the games, try discounting the ones that are available on other systems and you will see the true proportion.
