Or just buy a used one in March. Many WiiU owners will sell it then to pay for their Nintendo Switch.

This console deserved so much better. I think in 10 years it'll be valued in the same way Dreamcast is today.

Nah it won't, not even be valued as Gamecube which had far more quality titles.

I don't think WiiU will be remembered at all, partly because of it's name, WiiU sounds like an extension of the Wii, but mostly because some of its best games will come to the Switch(Smash Bros, Splatoon, MK8). There's less than 10 great exclusives which are truly Wii U only.

No goodbye bundle with a big price cut?

I sold mine a while ago but i would buy it again for 250$ and a game.

lol You acting like you want a 199$ deal!

It should have the deal that you want on holidays because it's not a big deal. heheh

Although, if you're not from North America, then...

Yeah everything Nintendo is overpriced as hell here, Sony not so much.

Just a reminder that Nintendo lied/was misleading about this:

Nikkei was right again. I also said this at the time but a vocal group of Nintendo fans here tried to deny that report.

Posted on the 23rd of March... Production ending in the first week of November? That's the soon?

Did you only read the headline?

"Nikkei reports Wii U production will apparently end before the year is out."

Ooops... lol Not  just today, bu also when it was originally posted...

Many people sometimes are making the mistake of reading just the headline, I'm no different! That's why, when I make a thread my titles are detailed/extensive! hahhah

Crucify me!

It will be remembered because of Splatoon (which is going to become one of the biggest IP in Japan just watch) and Mario Maker alone I think.

Those are going to be two hall mark titles.

People still remember the Saturn and hell even the Virtual Boy. Wii U will be remembered.

I want one now. Lasted less than 4 years.

Splatoon will be on Switch and I expect Mario Maker as well, when those are on Switch people will forgot they existed on WiiU.

Saturn is remembered because it had shit ton of amazing games, it has one of the finest console libraries, top 5 worthy.

I wouldn't say top 5, but it's up there. Leagues above the Dreamcast or Wii U at least.
