Including the Virtual Boy, the Pippen, Sega Saturn, the Ouya, the Ngage, The Vita... heck even the GBA had as short a life as the Wii-U if not shorter.

But yeah, no company has ever wanted to continue to support a console which was very clearly a fairly from the very start, that confusion that it was just a Wii addon... people already had a lot of Wii addons, they had balance boards and golf clubs and everything, why was this addon so much more expensive and would it just end up gathering dust like the rest of them = failed system.

Virtual Boy is a joke. I believe we can't list Virtual Boy here. The others you mentioned aren't Nintendo consoles. GBA has an extraordinary library.

This. Seriously the attitude of some of these kids is hilarious. You buy a console for its perceived value to you and the enjoyment you will get out of it, not some entitled feeling of specialness and greed/possessiveness that no one else should be able to enjoy these games on another console. There are some fantastic games on the Wii U, but the fanbase wasn't there. Nintendo needs to move on, so yea it sucks a bit, but the game experiences you have had on it cannot be imitated or had on any other device currently. Why would you whine that people years later finally get to possibly (not confirmed) enjoy those same experiences? You might as well not buy any console and just wait years later to play those games on PC through emulation and what not, then you won't feel so screwed. Nintendo DID support the Wii U longer than it should have honestly, but they had no choice. 

You sound like my 4 year old daughter when she whines and throws a fit because her little sister picked up a toy she wasn't even playing with or paying attention to but suddnely has to say, "Mine!" because of her selfish, little butt.

That's the reason why they should go third-party. Their whole console policy is horrible imo.

I'm a Wii U owner and I don't have any problems with Nintendo porting its games to the NS, people that didn't had a chance to play them will be able to enjoy some of its gems, and it's not like Nintendo is holding a gun against my head forcing me to buy ports of games I already played, if I ever decide to buy their new tablet/console it will be for games that aren't available for Wii U/3DS.

Wii U is undoubtedly Nintendo's worst console, with a library of less than 20 games that most people might find worth buying, this,the terrible droughts and the poor support in its last year are my reasons to feel disappointed with the treatment Nintendo gave it, possible ports to the next system have nothing to do with it.

Your level of hypocrisy when talking about Nintendo is beyond limits, is like you don't care at all about your own credibility.

The buyers screwed themselves, everybody knew the system was a failing for many years. Look at the gamepad and you will know why. And the system may be dead, but a huge homebrew scene is now more alive than ever before. Also you can sell your system for full price or even more, since there will be huge shortage when Zelda arrives. Out of production Wii-U units will never reach demand so prices will rise heavily.

And you don't care about yours as well considering how far you'll go to defend them instead of being objective.
