The only difference I feel, is Persona feels more in the category of Tales of, as in designed with the PS3 in mind, vs PS4. Where a lot of those other ones, were designed for the new consoles in mind.

How does P5 feel like it's designed more with the PS3 in mind?

It was announced that way? It was originally announced for ps3 only, with later announcement that it will be coming to the ps4, I imagine the bulk of the work was done with the ps3 in mind when they made the announcement in the first place. I don't know the case for Metal Gear Solid, but the other games listed were cross generation announcement.

I also think the only difference stated is the load times, but not 100% sure. (We will know in a month I guess)

It is not a bad thing, that Atlus wanted to make it with the ps3 mind, same with Tales franchises. Somethings don't need that much resources, it is not like PS3 is that behind of a console, it still holds up really nicely.

The cross generation stuff is a bit confusing to clarify, some games the difference is just graphical, and sometimes it is actually gameplay defining (See Shadows of Mordor). So I don't know which generation they would fall under.

Around the Network

Fire Emblem: Awakening, followed very closely by The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Wii U NNID:  CWegzz
3DS Friend Code:  4210-5277-5484
PSN:  Ronnoc4
Steam:  CWegz

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for me, although I've yet to play Bloodborne, Fire Emblem, etc.

Excellent level and boss design, fun sidequests, good use of 3D and Streetpass, and a really neat hook.

Xenoblade Chronicles X I assumed would be, until I saw Breath of the Wild at E3.

But let's be real, I'll be getting it on Nintendo's next gen console, so it is kind of a next generation title.

Handhelds have been weaker this generation, in my opinion. But two game franchises really stood out with vast improvements from the last generation: Monster Hunter and Fire Emblem. Plus we got Zelda Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Xenoblade, and Dragon Quest 7, 8, and 11. incoming. Strong releases, but I don't think they beat the original DS which had more content, more originality, and bigger entries for the time: Final Fantasy 3, 4, Revenant Wings, Crystal Chronicles, Radiant Historia, Dragon Quest 4, 5, 6, and 9. The first major 2D Mario game since SNES, the revival of adventure games like Phoenix Wright, the arrival of Rune Factory, the first great handheld Mario Kart, and the list goes on.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Splatoon or Mario Kart 8.

Fatal Frame V, Xenoblade X and Bayo 2. It's honestly a three way tie.

Hard to say right now what my game of this gen is, however for racing its a toss up between Mario Kart 8 and Forza Horizon 2

Without a shadow of a doubt Rocket League, nothing comes close, I play it every day and can see myself playing every day throughout this generation, the next generation and many many more beyond that. Unless of course they decide to make another one.

Naughty Dog could dethrone it if they can make something on the level of The Last of Us, but in any case whatever does is going to have to be something quite special, if anything can.

Don't ruin the moment

Currently Playing: Rocket League (PC/PS4), Dead Cells (PC)

Difference between my opinion and what is in general.

To me most popular game of recent times is Likely GTA 5 but Last of Us was best to me.

Mario Kart 8 is my favorite game of the 8th gen so far, but I doubt it's going to be my GotG.
