Forums - Politics Discussion - Trump "Exhausted, Frustrated, Bewildered" As Campaign In Meltdown

My lord Hilary is lucky as hell lol, this is quite literally the only opponent from every major modern us presidential election that she could actually beat. Seriously, Romney or McCain would be running away with this. At this point she makes Nixon look cuddly, but trump has the political acumen of a rabid badger.

This one is over... It recently occurred to me that over the last few weeks I've seen a Clinton ad around once an hour, but haven't seen a single trump ad. Even if trump was saying all the right things I'm pretty sure clinton's piggy bank would have decided this one at this point in the game.

I think there's a real chance we'll have our first president that enters office under threat of impeachment. Fun times ahead!

I think in general, Clinton wins head to head against Trump, Jeb Bush, and Ted Cruz.

But she probably loses head to head against Kasich or Rubio (that would be very close though). Kasich is not as flashy but he's the most reasonable Republican candidate, Rubio would've gotten a bigger chunk of the Latino vote.

Against Romney she probably loses. McCain I dunno, at this stage he's too old (he's 79, Clinton is 68). She'd beat him.

Trump's campaign on the ground is incredibly disorganized. Not only does he not have TV ads yet, he doesn't even have operating field offices in many battleground states open yet. Clinton, say what you want, is totally organized and on the ball with all that stuff, she's doesn't fuck around.

I think in a general election she would've beaten Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz along with Trump.

She has the second highest dislike ratings for a nominated candidate since 1980 by a wide margin, trailing only trump himself. There's no way she'd beat any of those candidates, though I think Cruz would be closer. For McCain, I was mostly referring to his '08 run as he has gotten old, but I've give him a strong chance too. A Kasich/Rubio or Rubio/Kasich would undoubtedly win.

This is a woman who needed to fix her own primary to guarantee success against a white old socialist few have heard of despite having the endorsement and funding of nearly her entire party, and we've only learned more damning things about her since. There's a reason both the libertarian and Green Party are getting attention; people can't stomach the idea of either of these horrible people being president lol

I don't really buy that she needed to fix the primary, she beat Sanders by a large margin. The year to fix a primary would've been 2008 against Obama with whom she was neck and neck.

I do think Bernie Sanders represents also that younger Americans born after the Cold War or who were just children during the Cold War don't hold the same aversion to the term "socialist" as older people do, so that probably represents a demographic shift.

Probably one day someone inspired by the Bernie Sanders movement will probably win the presidency. Wouldn't surprise me much. It's just a message that wasn't quite ready for prime time yet.

I think many Democrats were afraid that Sanders' obvious socialist leanings would also become easy powder keg targets for Trump and the Republicans in a general election too. "We didn't fight against Soviet Russia for 50 years to elect a communist for president! Communist Bernie wants to take all your money!" type smearing and all that, you can bet Trump had all that stuff ready.

Fox News is still on Bernie Sanders, saying "socialist Sanders" purchases a third home for $600,000 in Vermont.

He just isn't up to snuff to run a country. He wants to hide from debates, degrade Americans that have worked and sacrificed much just to serve it, and he's a flip flopper who says one thing and means another. That's a psychopath. If you can't handle campaigns without getting frustrated, how can we expect him to run an entire continent for a single day? It's just insane!

The US isn't a continent @_@

Oops! you know what I meant! I stated country in my first sentence, I guess I lost my mind there for a second. I meant country. I may not be a genius, but I'm not that stupid.

I know this is just a theory, but is there a chance that Trump could be intentionally destroying the GOP party? I mean he did endorse Hillary before, so this would just be the perfect way of ruining the republican party's chance at getting a canidate in office.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Nah he is a bit too egotistical to not be running to win it. People like him, and Kayne (celebrities who run), want it because they think highly of themselves.

Candidate Misdeed Comparison lies told about Hillary vs lies told by Trump so if you think telling lies is worse than having lies told about you , vote for Hillary

He has looked very tired as of late, like he has lost a lot of energy. Maybe he has realized he must go into debate where ISSUES are discussed and that has given him nightmares :).

But really, if he was endorsing the democrats before, why suddenly run as a republican? It seems very fishy.
