Halo:TMCC is the 78th best selling video game item so far and it has not even been released yet (http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/2014/videogames/ref=zg_bs_tab_t_bsar#4). The Halo game has already surged past Watchdogs' sales indicating that Halo will open with far more than a million first week. Based on trends I believe Halo will put these number:

-2 million first week

-4 million in 2014

-8 million by the end of 2015 lifetime with bundles

-10 million when its done selling completely.

The game is consistently in the top 20 outselling all versions of the new Call of Duty until very recently when Advanced Warfare recieved a launch trailer.

If you see the chart you can see that its betwen a link betwen worlds and ocarina of time 3d. A game from last year and a game from 3 years ago. Neither have sold gang buster acording to vgc. So its safe to asume that neither have sold even 300k this year since games sell the most on their launch week. So Halo:MCC can not have more than 200k preeordes.

Another thing, outselling call of duty means nothing, as that game is also doing terrible this time.

It's been hovering around #10 on amazon UK and US for the past week or so..hopefully it'll go top 5 and stay there soon

It probably has great legs throughout the generation.

It's pretty much the Mario of Xbox.
