For me I don't really see that need to upgrade honestly. It's tempting, but I just got a 3DS XL in March this year and it seems perfect for me already. I don't really like the new button arrangements that much and the 3D from all angles is still not that much of a big deal. Also I'm not sure if I'll ever need the extra buttons because there are not any games out there that I want with them. Even Xenoblade isn't tempting for me. What about you guys, are you going to stick with your 2DS/3DS/XL?

If I get my cousin's Vita for free, yes I will. The XL is simply too large for me, and the New 3DS battery life is good enough now.

Obviously, if I don't get my cousin's Vita, I'll buy one for myself and just get the 3DS successor eventually.

I WON A BET AGAINST AZUREN! WOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

:3

I will cause you see, there are some games on the 3ds that lag like Senran Kagura Burst or even Pokemon at times so with the 3ds and its upgraded hardware, that lag should go away (hopefully)

On top of that, I use the 3d features a lot and it really is annoying when u move ur head around and it loses focus so I think the upgrades will be worth it for me to get it day 1. And obviously the exclusive games that will come for it eventually

Yes I'm planning to. My current XL is pretty beat up, so I was already planning on getting a new one. I was hoping Nintendo was going to announce a revision so it would at least be a step up from what I have currently. Definitely glad I waited xD

I just thought I'd point out the real potential of their "more stable" 3D.

Do you remember that DSi head-tracking game? As in, this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUC5JJCxx5k - the perspective adjusts based on where you're viewing it from.

Imagine that, combined with the binocular 3D effect of the 3DS screen. While it may not be present immediately, there's no reason why they couldn't do this with the tech. Hopefully, it's also able to handle rotations (although I do somewhat doubt that it will).

I want an XL, so yes.

I will when interesting exclusive new 3ds games will come out, until then, nop.

The 3D does mess up on me a lot indeed though. It's just that I'm happy with my XL, but let's say mine breaks or the screen dies on me like my original DS lite, I'll just get the upgrade.
