15mill is not outta the question. 10-15 mill is a sure bet...

After playing just Alpha, I have no desire to play any CoD game.

The thing that I liked the most, is how glitch-free this game is. After BF 4 fiasco it's like a godsend...

Say what you will about Halo, but those games were very well polished. It doesn't surprise me that Destiny isn't any different in that regard, Bungie puts in a lot of care and effort into their games.

I just hope Destiny won't be that boring as Halo. I got bored after part 3, didn't had any urge to play ODST, Reach or Halo 4.

Yup. I see it selling great numbers.

Along with the map packs and other stuff I'm sure will come in the passing months on the game being available, I see this game making gamer's very happy.

15 million LTD across all platforms seems like a given at this point.

Would be nice if a non FPS could get that kinda budget.

I agree. That's what I voted for in another thread

How about Grand Theft Auto 5?  That's not a FPS.

Well according to wikipedia that games total budget was $265 million dollars which is almost half as much and since it easily sold over 30 million copies it was money well spend.  Destiny will probably sell less then half as much total copies and like most shooters it will have pretty poor legs.

Activision said it has to sell 15 million at full price to break even. Big goal.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Activision  didn't say that, analysts did.

Analysts said $500 million would likely be a record spent on a single game - especially one without an established track record. To break even, Activision would have to sell about 15 million to 16 million units of a $60 game "

Activision  did announce the 500M budget though.
