Beyond being the first actually good single-player Final Fantasy since XII, is having atleast one playable female character.

To be honest, the game looks like a complete sausage fest right now :(

That's a good wish... Isn't there the blonde girl?. Can't remember.

Mine for the game is steampunk, the reason FFXIII failed is because it was cyberpunk, not steampunk.

Yeah the only possibility I could see would be Stella but she an antagonist.
The only playable female character I've seen from Nomura is Aqua.

Final fantasy lives on yaoi now.

Definitely. Based on the characters shown thus far, I've never been less excited for a Final Fantasy game. I have trouble enough finding a good J-drama that isn't about a group of pretty boys, I don't need that with RPGs, too. At this point, I don't even care about FF XV.
