A legend. That's the only way to describe his impact.

I hope all the gaming fans, especially the younger ones can take some time to understand what this man meant to this industry (Nintendo, Sony, MS, Sega fans put down your banners for a moment). Today whether it's in the Mushroom kingdom or the airships of Final Fantasy or the streets of GTA ... flags fly at half mast.

He is really in a lot of way the father of the modern gaming business.



A sad day indeed.
