Timed COD exclusives are what saved the Xbox lol. Halo is just what helped it stay afloat until Sony bombed the PS3 and opened dem pearly gates some.

Yes, I only bought a 360 after gears of war came out. Never had an original Xbox. Halo is not a deciding factor for me but I do enjoy the occasional game.

Probably not. Of course, if it weren't for Halo, Microsoft probably would have been out of the gaming business in less than a year. Heck, I'm not even sure they would have made it through the 2001 holiday season.

Halo, in my view, is one of the greatest series ever created, so it was only natural that the game made me fall in love with Xbox :).

Didn't play Halo until a year after I got the first Xbox. It was amazing for many reasons--Oddworld: Munch's Oddyssee, Kotor, Star Wars: The Trials of Obi-Wan, and the best version of any given multiplat.

I've never owned an Xbox, but I used to pour in hours upon hours in Hali with my cousin on his Xbox, if it wasn't for Halo, I would not like fps games, I used to despise them prior to Halo, and to answer your question, no because without Halo there would'nt have been Xbox.

I might have traded my Xbox in (Halo was all my brother and I played for awhile) but once the slew of incredible online titles came out, I'd have gotten another one. Rallisport, Crimson Skies, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, Forza, Links, etc.

i was very excited about xbox when dreamcast died. The graphics, seamless loading, and pc architecture was very appealing to me at the time. I was buying it day 1 regardless. doa, oddworld, and bloodwake would have pleased me until the others showed up. My friends wouldn't have been happy though.. all they wanted to do at my house was play halo!
