can't blame them the "Hardcore gaemrzz" hate them with a passion for some mistakes that they were trying to redeem, but the "Hardcore gaermzz" are just whiny.

Square doesn't listen to its fans, it's a horrible company.

maybe because their fans like just one single game and hate everything else?

there is the FFT crowd, the FFVII crown , the FFVI crowd, ....etc , and they're all whiny and are never satisfied, Dissidia was a game made for fans, all the remakes and re-releases are made for fans.

I actually thought it would be a redemption generation for Square Enix after they showed FFXV and KH3 at Sony's conference. Then I found out that the games will also be available for Xbone and knew SE still sucks :P

Jokes aside, I thought when Wada resigned, Square was meant to go back to be more AAA oriented?

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

I wouldn't mind so much if this meant handheld games would become more common. But it doesn't mean that. Oh well.

Love and tolerate.

Does this mean FF XV has a chance to be delayed....again?

It honestly has more of a chance to just be mediocre.

I doubt Square is going to allow more delays. I mean sure Nomura and all, but the man's been working on this game for nearly 8 years. What is taking him so long?

Why not make for handhelds instead?

Well that is one sure way to alienate your fanbase some more.

I played and liked most Final Fantasy games from the original till XII. I also enjoyed The Bouncer on PS2, Parasite Eve 1 and 2. Loved Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, hence my profile picture. I appreicate a few of the re-releases but they were handheld games and the last one still came out many years ago (being FFIV DS).

What fans do want is a proper console game being developed by the teams that made Square's games special. Square still has those important employees so why not give them high positions in game development? Tetsuya Nomura and Kazushige Nojima were pretty much on hold with the endlessly delayed FF Versus XIII. Nobuo Uematsu expressed his discomfort with the company by literally saying "Square is a pain in the ass" Hiroyuki Ito said he would work on a new Final Fantasy game if his boss "allows" it.

The people who once defined the company are being ignored by Square's leadership LOL. I hope that clarifies a little.

What's ironic is that after the FFVII betrayalton, a lot of Squaresoft's former workers went back to Nintendo. The people that did SMRPG are at alphadram doing the M & L series. Monolith Soft comprised of the guys who did  Xenogears back in the day. Some more went to Brownie Brown and I believe some went to Intsys.

(Info not complete, just what I remember) After the merger, the company really fell.

Everytime I hear a company say they will shift their focus to mobile, I instantly wish them total failure. Does that make me a bad person?
