I keep trying to figure out what MS did with XB0 that gives everyone the idea it is more capable than PS4 at multi-media. PS3 already had live TV and DVR capablilties with PlayTV and Nasne. It would only make sense that these same features would be present on PS4. Sony already talked about the PS4's ability to mulitask, and it seemed to be on par with what MS showed. 

From what I see both will offer;

Music
Movies
Live TV
Content Streaming
Content sharing
Constant Voice/ video chat
Picture in picture multitasking
Instant pick up on Games/other medias

Can anyone pick out something that XB0 showed that Sony has not already mentioned or showed for PS4? All I can think of is Vocie control and gesture control. Is that what is making the difference? 

Sony at some point always takes the media stuff MS pioneers and adds it to their own.

But since they are below the radar and they talk about exclusives, its totz ok.

So, you're missing::

• Kinect's upgraded interactivity
• Snap-on controls and apps multi-tasking
• Voice controls and gestures for multi-tasking
• The NFL partnership (business advantage, not just technical advantage)

and a few more I can't think about right now.

In the live stream, they demoed a feature called snap-on controls. Were you able to attend the MS presentation?

Ok that was the picture in picture multitasking. From the slides Sony has shown of their OS this feature is also supported.

This pic shows Voice/Video/Text/Live Streaming all at the same time.

You'll find it in the section where they show the fantasy league stats along with the live football footage, and in another place where they snap on IE while watching star trek I believe to get some info.

In UK.

PS3 = No LiveTV. Only catch UP BBc Iplayer kinda stuff. Smaller movie rental list and buy list. only 7 apps. No sports at ALL.

360 = FULL Live TV via Sky. Massive movie rental and buy list. Even buy 1080p HD films with smartglass inbuilt. Like The Hobbit recently. 63 apps. Live sports and sports apps for fantasy leagues.

The One looks to capitilise on all these things and then some. Also the share button sounds moot now considering The One has inbuilt DVR that allows you to fully edit your videos before posting them to Youtube, Facebook, Twitter etc. You can add your own music cut and produce short films. etc.

Im glad Ive paid for Live the last 7 years.

no, wait, the PS4 DOESN't multitask? Quick, stop the presses....

And don't ever get the idea of useing a button on the controller for task switching. It is much better to

a) lay away the controller

b) stand up and remove any furniture between you and the sensor

c) yell loudly, so that every neighbour can hear: "XBox, Undress the femal here" , or wave your arms in any of the 300 pretrained ways to execute the 300 available commands.

d) sit down and grab the controller again (or grab whatever is more appropriate if Kinect2 did understand). ?

I must have been mistaken when I thought that Sony was one of the biggest players in the movie and music industry for decades.

What did they pioneer? Making media available through a gaming console? I always thought music and movies played through Playstations since, well, forever. Only thing that has changed is how it is available. The act of it being available did not begin with MS.
