Sorry but last i checked Sony owns 12 first party studios... how can you say that they don't develope games? oO

I don't think there is actually a difference. You make it seem as if in case Sony/Microsoft goes out of business, their first parties go free immidiately and so would do their IPs. It will come down to what Sony/Microsoft do with said companies and especially their IPs, which are fans' interests. That was my argument. Fans of Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo care for those first party IPs, and the uncertainty of what happens to those games and companies is no different between any of them if they go out of business.  It will depend in what they would choose to do with the companies and the IPs if they go out of business and you can't be certain of what their actions could be, which is my point: we care for Sony/Microsoft/Nintedo as well because they have those IPs under their belt. You don't know if they would hold unto those games for a future comback and let them frozen in time.

I guess I could say that yes, maybe Sony is not a developer perse, but putting some thought to it, there is not much difference between seeing an separate office where Nintendo techinicians are developing a game and an outside building where Sony's first parties are developing a game Sony owns. They are both divisions between each companies and subject to their companies will and fate.

I think the problem is Sony fans are beating MS fans over the head with their opinions which is generally very negative.

Whenever Rare is brought up, this instantly creates a shit storm of how MS ruins companies. Yet Rare has been doing fine and many studios have closed.

MS has put a big focus on marketing to casuals because that was a void not being filled. The Xbox already has the core audience. At one time Sony attempted to market to casuals but the Move was a failure. Sony just played it off and pretend they never had much interest in that audience.

If people don't feel Live Gold is worth a purchase they should ignore threads about it. However, when a thread was started about Live Gold being on sale for $35, Sony fans took over with their opinions on LIve Gold.

Does it matter if Kinect failed or succeeded to maintain hype? It was a massive success and people are just trying to create a negative spin.

Your anecdotal evidence about Xbox fans isn't worth much. The fact is plenty of non-shooter games have done well on Xbox as well.

Do you guys really care about your chunks of plastic that much? Respect all userbases and dont disrupt threads of anything regardless of the console.

If somone makes a thread called Do you think Rare suck? Go in and bash rare if you want. If someone makes a thread called Whats your opinion on Xbox and Xbox live attack all you want.

But just charging into a thread that is discussing something the Xbox fans find cool and disrupting it with negativity is frankly pathetic. Same thing if a MS fan charges into a Ninty or Sony thread and did the same thing

Well this is a European site, which is why I don't come here as often anymore. About 90% of the people on here are Playstation cheerleaders. I don't let it bother me much anymore, because I understand why it happens now. lol!!

I own all the systems and even though there were some decent things Sony showed at their conference, it was still pretty boring for about 1/2 of it. I did like some of the new IP's and believe Sony's launch of the PS4 should be leagues better then the PS3 launch. My concern is more with Sony's finances and how much more in the red they will be after the launch of the PS4. Sure they are still a billion dollar company, but losing billions every year can dwindle that down.

As for Microsoft, everything is just rumors at this point. I'd rather wait for facts and their conference before I judge Microsoft's next XBox. I'm sure there willbe good and bad things for it, just like the PS4. Let's wait and see though.

The problem with karma is that eventually you will get bit on the arse. Its a really, really bad way to go about things. People acting like dicks now because of things said on the Internet 5-6 Years ago is extremely petty.

In all honestly, I liked Fable 3, but I admit it is mediocre. Lots of creative ideas made the game worse (I don't know how they could mess up so bad xD), and the game was hand-holding you in a very horrible manner. It got dumbed down hard. I do like it, though. I love the Fable franchise.

Fable 2, on the other hand... I remember that I didn't like it, the first time I played it. Changed lots of things from Fable 1, and it was easier. But then, on a second playthrough years later, I just loved it, loved every single second of it. Is an amazing game, and purely charming. I was shocked to discover that it owns a 89 in metacritic, considering how criticized the game is (The growing tree did make something in critics' minds xD). It is an awesome game, really. It's easy, and the final boss is lame, but that's as far as the complains are.

Funny thing I notice immediatly is the lack of well known 360 fans in that list. Second thing I notice is ronestar may love sega but he switched to 360. and j_allard is with 360 too. (if we are to talk about the big 3 strictly) and the last thing I notice is the amount of names unrecognizable to me in the sony list.

I cant be bothered to look at the lists now but in my opinion they are are close when I add the people i know off the top of my head to MS and subtract the ones I dont on the Sony threads. Probably like 50 MS to 60-70 Sony.

Jaywood, you do know that Nintendo is comprised of studios too, correct? It's not "developed by Nintendo", that's just the umbrella. Each studio has its own head, and would go independant if Nintendo ever fell.
