LOL oh God yes. It was common thinking at first, but I think most rational people had their doubts after's E3's $600 price announcement. However, Sony fanboys were not at all diswayed from PS3's domination.

Its still last place. Selling more in recent years isnt changing that. You know full well the thread talked about total domination....like #1 sales off the bat domination.

2006 was the best year in gaming. Status quo was disrupted, egg was on face, 1st became last.
Sony E....3......2006. Best E3 ever. Glorious times that year was. Oh and Gears of War was great too :P

Your links seem to go back to 2009 and .......2012. But I choose to take your vague thread and remember back to 2006 when the entire industry, not just a handful of analysts and optomistic forum posters thought so.

If Vita is dead, then that means Sony have stopped supporting it. If Sony have stopped supporting it, then that means they'll be able to spend more resources supporting PS4. Excellent news, thank you for pointing that out.

I will not translate the whole interview, but some things are funny:

LOL. By the way, NIntendo copied nearly everything from the PS3, including the black plastic that gets full of fingerprints.
The interview itself doesn't hold the claim, but at the end they say they also talked to Guido Alt (spokes person for SCE Germany), he said Sony want to ship 4 million PS3 in 2006, 8 million to march 2007 and overtake XBOX 360 shortly after that.
