It had to start falling one day. Maybe it`s because more people like/want to modern warfare version of call of duty. Maybe Wii U might have stolen some of that share. We will see.

i think next gen will be hard for CoD to dominate as much. Which if either Sony/Nintendo/MS have a killer FPS out at launch it could really effect the USA market.

If that's your idea of a decline, then I think 99% of game developers and publishers would sign up for that sort of "decline".

By the way didn't BLOPS2 break MW3's day 1 record? I'm surprised it did that but sold less overall week 1. Doesn't really matter though as this game will have massive legs just like its predecessors have, and it's yet to be seen how well the Wii U version sells. I'm sure many people who got a Wii U at launch were holding out for that version of BLOPS2.

That's because this is the first time COD has had to go head to head with a main Halo game just a week apart on the 360... Halo 3, ODST and Reach were all released in Sept (like Gears 3), and COD was always a Nov release, with its only real head to head competition being Battlefield 3 last year and Gears 2 back in 2008.

Could help to destroy the series even more hopefully.
Cause those people will be angry when they see their beloved Copy+Paste Series with an Engine from 1999 still looks like a PS2 Game.
