I would say that's a little harsh. The new graphics are more like a C 

I honestly don't see why they did this. I don't see why this was a conscious decision made by Nintendo's art department. Some natural humans look this way, so what. Smh Nintendo. At least Wii Fit Trainer is at least passable now.

I'm really surprised at the amount of people taking this seriously, fun thread.

I got in trouble on twitter for stating that Ultimate is the Wii U version of Smash with higher contrast.

None of the images you provide here add anything of the right proportions to the topic of this thread.

Ok, Here I am to judge for myself:

Mario: You can clearly see the graphical downgrade, look, they took out the grass and flowers from the Switch version!

Donkey Kong: The Donkey Kong on Wii U looks significantly more detailed. Look at the tip of his hair, you can tell it was freshly combed. And look at the hair particles on his shoulder, it looks life like. Now look at the Switch version. It's all one flat, monotonous texture. 

Link: Motherfucker looks like Pinocchio in the Switch version. 

Samus: Look at how weathered her armor looks in the Wii U version. It's not extremely weathered, but it definitely looks well worn. She looks like a plastic figurine in the Switch version.

All i'm seeing is a lot of different light and shadows. It probably isn't that much better(or worse) than the WiiU
