Kratos did have slow time in God of War 2, he came back from dead and went back in time and he got all Gods' powers as well as Titans'. So I believe you can't count him out this easy.

Some characters are so popular that their fans sort of lose logic and blindly support the character well past their swinging level.

As Vagabond said way back in 2010.   The greek gods are wimps comparitivly fiction wise.  Hell, the ones in God of War even more so.


Tthis is best most common with Wolverine, Goku, Batman with Prep and Doctor Doom.

 

The next step is "stupid stipulations" threads.


Like, Kratos vs Superman, but Kratos gets Superman's strength and speed and the chains of olympus has infinite reach so Superman can't just fly into the atmospere and lobotimize Kratos from space.

I really don't see how Bayonetta would loose to either of those lol, she's too fast and destructive at the same time, and she can fucking fly too while shooting guns in burst mode made with magic that doesn't run out.

Its all down to opinion, so which ones your favourite. For me my favourite at the moment is Bayonetta. She is awesome.

It's not about favorites, it's about skill and ability. I like Dante WAY more than Kratos, but Kratos would own him. Bayonetta is the strongest. D21Lewis said all that needs to be said on the subject. GoW is more popular so fans of series just can't seem to cope with the reality of the situation.

i remember these vs topics.....Used to get into heated discussions on who would win.
This thread sucks because people used to actually give solid reasons why this one character would win over the other .

 

i have no clue who will win but Kratos and Bayonetta have to be the most unlikable characters ive ever played as

...i saw someone say Asura....he'd kill them all!

Bayonetta can't die because, when the angels come to take her away, she just beats them up. Azur--excuse me--Asura (who isn't in the comparison but should be--died like five times in one game and just kept coming back stronger and madder.  I wish we had some sort of Dragon Ball Z power level thingy for game characters.

 

Also, with a power star, Mario wins easily.

kratos went to hell, beat the crap out of hades and came back like nothing happened....now compare that to beating up angels.

Bayonetta beat up god.  She punched him into the sun.


Kratos beat beat up gods. He ripped them to shreds.
