Either IGN has overlooked some great games on the other systems (we know it has for PS3 a la Demon's Souls) or the other systems are struggling to put up 5 truly deserving games this year.

I get the feeling in the case of PS3 it was a case of being spoiled for choice so someone had to get a bum deal. In the case of the other systems it was "gee what are we going to put in that 5th spot?"

i guess, i mean the ps3 did have the best line up of games, but it depends of the editors of each team.

Oh yeah. I have played InFamous and I haven't played Batman, but I still think Batman should probably be in the list ahead of Infamous.

TBH I wasn't impressed with the clip of AC II they put in the montage for either PS3 or 360. I reckon a 10 second clip from InFamous would look a lot more impressive. I guess there must be a lot more to AC II than what a short clip can show.

I say it's a perfectly good list. Of course, opinions differ, but I wouldn't say any of those games don't deserve to be nominees.

Though inFamous and Demon's Souls deserve it too, I suppose. Between those seven, you can't go wrong with any 5 (unless you miss out Uncharted 2).

I have played both and Bathman shits all over Infamous.

I really don't feel like Killzone should be consider a contender simply for the graphic, its a polished game but I did not enjoy it even as much as Infamous.

ACII... have heard great thing about this and a friend of mine who's opinion I greatly respect gave this his GOTY but man I HATED the first game and find I do not have the incentive to purchase the sequal.

Uncharted is well deserved. Modern Warfare 2 is also a fairly polished game though I dislike it on a personal level.

Street Fighter 4 is an absolute gem of a game that did everything right, Its in my top 5 of this year and almost squeezed into my top 10 game of all time. Considering its excellent meta score and good popularity, I feel that it certainly does deserve a nomination spot, even on the PS3.

A pretty fair list, I should say. I would've also preferred they put Demon's Souls in ACII's place (as much as I love Assassin's Creed), since Demon's Souls is exclusive.

Edit: I think also Demon's Souls outscored Assassin's Creed II. So I'm quite puzzled.
