yup cause if you saw the image first THEN hotlink it , you will see the image instead

This is called "caching."  When you go to a website, your web browser will store the images of that website in a temporary files folder.  When you revisit that website, your browser will check to see if those images are still in that temporary folder and use those instead of redownloading them to make the page load faster.

When you see the images, you are seeing the images you saw from the actual website still cached on your computer.  When others attempt to see those images from vgChartz the web browser makes an actual request to download them but gets the bandwidth thief picture instead.
